Despite his slick and charismatic appearance, Tony Stark is no stranger to battle. Whether he’s protecting a city from alien invaders, battling an evil warlord or taking on HYDRA’s nefarious brainwashing program, Stark has taken on many villains over the years, and in doing so, he’s gotten his fair share of blood on his hands.
Iron Man kill count
As far as Marvel superheroes go, Iron Man is arguably one of the most violent characters. When he’s wearing his suit, you can bet that no one — not even the most well-defended people — is safe.
That’s because Tony’s suit is a death machine, able to take on anyone that crosses its path. It’s equipped with repulsor rays that can be used to repel and disrupt enemies, as well as booster jets that enable Stark to fly faster than any aircraft on Earth.
It’s this kind of killing that gives Iron Man his reputation as the world’s deadliest man. And it’s this ability that has made him a staple of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
He’s killed thousands of people, and this new video from Canadian editor Ben shows us just how much blood he’s lost in his career.
The video doesn’t just include the body count, but also takes into account how many robots he’s destroyed during his time as Iron Man. Using this information, the video spits out a pretty accurate picture of how many times Iron Man has killed.
Some of his most notable victims include the Winter Soldiers, who were all killed by Zemo. The Winter Soldiers were HYDRA’s brainwashed soldiers, who aimed to destroy the Avengers from within.
Captain America and Bucky were trapped in a bunker with Zemo during the events of the original Avengers movie, and when they managed to escape, they found that the villain had killed both their parents. After realizing that Zemo had been responsible for their deaths, Cap and Bucky fought to rescue them from the bad guy.
When the team eventually made it out, they went straight to Iron Man’s bunker to confront him. There, they discovered that he had a slew of weapons and was in control of the HYDRA program.
He’s also the man who built Iron Man’s suits, a technological wonder that he’s proud of. But there’s no denying that he has some major flaws as well.
His slick personality can make him seem a bit too perfect, and he often seems like a hypocrite when he’s fighting the good guys. This is particularly true during his time in the X-Men franchise, where he’s been known to take down other heroes and villains in a fit of rage.
That’s why it’s no surprise that Wolverine is the most prolific killer of all time, with 46 kills to his name. He’s even beaten out other characters in the X-Men franchise and in solo films, including Spider-Man, who has 11 kills, and the Punisher, who has 36.
He’s also played a vital role in many of the MCU’s biggest events, from the Infinity War to Endgame. And he’s still fighting, with his own movie coming out soon.
