The Marvel comic book Iron Man has become one of the most popular and best-selling comic books of all time. With a cast of well-known and popular characters including Rhodey (TD) Miles Davis, Peppermint (GH) Mickey Mouse, Sam Raimi, and Don Cheadle, it is no surprise that Iron Man is so popular. However, to experience all the thrills and excitement of this comic book series, you need to be able to read it in its entirety. Although it is possible to get the complete series in a video format, the true Iron Man experience occurs when you read the comic book, and if you are not a comic book reader, it can be very difficult to enjoy this highly entertaining story.

In this installment of the Marvel Comics’ Iron Man comic book series, we have Tony Stark and Peppermint Central Park. With a war between two nations, and terrorist organizations tearing through New York City, Tony and Peppermint lead a team of superheroes who form the New Avengers. Being appointed as the group leader, Tony sets out to stop criminals from harming the city. To do this, he recruits the help of several new superheroes including Spider-Man, Wolverine, The Hulk, and The Fantastic Four. Together they form the New Avengers, whose combined efforts prove to be the means of defeating Doctor Doom.

Although the plot of the Iron Man comic book series is excellent, it is unfortunately not long. Due to the constant fighting, and intense climax, the final pages of every issue quickly grow to be incredibly quick. Readers quickly grow tired of seeing these characters go up against villains on a regular basis, which is why it is recommended that you read it in its entirety. You may feel disinterested after the first couple of issues, but stick with it and you will soon start to enjoy the roller coaster ride of adrenaline-pumping action and adventure that this comic book series provides. With so many similarities between the movie and comic book, it is easy to see why Iron Man has become such a popular superhero for children and adults alike.
